We have found two companion passages of Scripture from 1 Timothy and 2 Timothy that the Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy admonishing him to avoid what you could call "false science" as Darwin evolutionists and "old earth" enthusiasts believe. The root definition of science is knowledge and these passages told Timothy to guard against false knowledge by keeping his guard up. The general idea is to guard against all forms of false knowledge, especially the knowledge that contradicts what Timothy has learned from Paul, i.e. Scripture. Genesis 3:1-5 (ESV) The Fall of Man 1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made.He said to the woman, “Did God actually say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?” 2 And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden, 3 but God said, ‘You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.’” 4 But the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” The first recorded words that Satan said in the Garden of Eden were counter to God's Word. When Adam and Eve fell into sin, we have since suffered from a broken relationship with our Creator Elohim. Note the lies Satan (in the form of a serpent) said to Eve. How many lies can you detect in these first 5 verses of Genesis 3? The program was about ancient weapons. The statement was made that the ancients were in the bronze age about 2000 bc and how to use iron had not been discovered yet. Take a look at Genesis, Chapter 4 and you will read that Tubal Cain, a fifth generational descendant of Cain was an iron worker and not only that, he was a forger of iron. Cain’s generation account of chapter 4 is well before the Global Flood that starts in chapter 6. Assuming 106 average years per generational step like the first 9 generational steps of Adam to Lamech, Noah’s father, this should put the approximate date around 3500 BC but definitely antediluvian. Cain’s descendants all perished in the global flood. Who do you believe?

How many times have you heard Preachers, Teachers and other Christians say that they can’t wait to see various Bible Characters in Heaven?
Many might say they want to meet Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, Elijah, Elisha, Solomon, Nathan, David, Jonathan, Daniel, Ruth, Esther, Ezra, Nehemiah, Job, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Peter, Paul, James, the rest of the Apostles and many of the others from the New Testament or even others not mentioned from Abraham’s descendants.
Well, how about meeting Adam, Eve, Abel, Seth, Enos, Mahalaleel, Jared, Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech, Noah, Shem, Arphaxad, Salah, Eber, Peleg, Reu, Serug, Nahor, Terah, and then Abraham? (We will only know for sure which of these characters made it to Heaven when we get there ourselves).
The Biblical Characters from Adam to before Abraham are just as real as Abraham and his descendants and they seem to get left out often in discussions.
Abraham’s birth is first recorded in Genesis 11:26 as Abram. The second previous paragraph above has the persons recorded in Genesis 1-11 before Abraham.
When you get to Heaven, don’t forget to ask the Biblical Characters listed before Abraham what life was like on the earth 5-6 thousand years ago. Refer to the page titled "Age Chart Adam to Joseph."
