Possible Reasons The Devil Should Have Fallen After Day Seven
Lucifer (Satan - the Devil) along with all the angels were created during the week of creation (Genesis 1). Genesis 2:1 refers to the creation of the angels as hosts as follows:
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
The word host in the Bible can refer to angels or groups of humans as well.
Lucifer (Satan – the Devil) was in the Garden of Eden (planted in Genesis 2:8) and was the “Anointed Cherub” and was originally blameless in his ways.
Ezekiel 28:13-15
13 You were in Eden, the garden of God;
every precious stone was your covering,
sardius, topaz, and diamond,
beryl, onyx, and jasper,
sapphire, emerald, and carbuncle;
and crafted in gold were your settings
and your engravings.
On the day that you were created
they were prepared.
14 You were an anointed guardian cherub.
I placed you; you were on the holy mountain of God;
in the midst of the stones of fire you walked.
15 You were blameless in your ways
from the day you were created,
till unrighteousness was found in you.
On day 6, God said “It was very good” and that meant that sin had not entered into the world yet through Satan or mankind.
Genesis 1:31
And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.
You don't believe that God would say His Creation was very good if sin (or death either) had existed before Creation was completed?
Sin entered the world through Adam but it had to come after day seven because the seventh day was holy or hallowed.
Genesis 2:3
So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation.
Romans 5:12
Death in Adam, Life in Christ
Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned--
So, the Devil had to sin first before mankind after the seventh day and then tempted Eve next to sin. After Eve sinned then Adam sinned. The Devil’s sin is recorded in Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28.
Three things:
1. Satan was in the Garden before his fall and was blameless
2. God said "Very Good" when Creation was finished (day 6)
3. The Devil wouldn't have fallen on a Holy Day (day 7)
